*Funds Availability Policy:
Our general policy is to allow you to withdraw funds deposited into your Checking Account on the business day we receive your deposit. In some cases, for either personal or non-personal transactions, we may delay your ability to withdraw funds. You will be notified if your funds will be delayed.

*Member Responsibility
Members are expected to use due care in using the checking service:

  • If member's control over the check is lost in any way, such as theft, loss, or unauthorized use, the Credit Union should be promptly notified so that protective measures can be taken.
  • Each member will have the responsibility for detecting unauthorized checks in the monthly statements, and the member will have to give the Credit Union notice of any unauthorized checks within 20 days after the statement is mailed.
  • Each member is responsible for reconciliation of their checking account. Statements are delivered on a monthly basis: Paper mailed or E-Statements (help MAFCU Go Green)
  • The Credit Union reserves the right to revoke a member's checking account because of continual misuse.
