Youth Accounts
The Meadville Area Federal Credit Union thinks our kids are pretty special! So we've come up with some new programs to help them learn how to save, spend, and plan for their financial futures. From "goo-goo" to graduation, there's something for every age and stage. With our Sammy Smart Saver, CU Cash Crew and Next Generation accounts your child can grow up with a strong financial institution that will help guide them to financial success. Attention: National Credit Union Youth Week
The Meadville Area Federal Credit Union is looking for our young Super Savers under the age of 18 to compete in the National Youth Savings Challenge for 2012 beginning April 1st, 2012 through April 30th, 2012. Super Savers are encouraged to make a deposit to their credit union account to help us reach our goal of $15,000 in deposits for our youth during the month of April.
Parent/Guardians who would like to enroll their Super Saver in the challenge should inquire in person at at one of our local offices in Meadville or Saegertown. If you child does not have an account, please bring them in during April to help us meet the challenge of enrolling 24 new Super Savers to our credit union.
For every $10.00 deposited, our Super Savers will receive an entry into our Savings Challenge Drawing. On May 16th, 2012, we will randomly select and give ten (10) $25 awards to 10 participating Super Savers. The odds of winning will depend on the number of entrants.
